A Trese

These shoes are made for running but I'm using them as my alternative to slippers. Comfy. I bought these to commemorate a big case which I could no longer remember. :)

The day started OK. I had fun with my RMN family.

BONG my co anchor (well halos sya lahat :) ) Super Sipag

Had some Have Some Thai again :)

I was disappointed with a work related incident.

I'm sleepy and I could no longer articulate so I'm posting pictures instead :)

Absolutely Sublime (or I do not have a catchy title so I'm using a phrase that does not have any connection to this blog or is there?)

I spent the entire day yesterday sleeping. I was supposed to attend a hearing but I was informed that the hearing was cancelled.

To make up for the lost day, I stuffed my entire day today.

I started my day with the radio show dubbed Straight To The Point.

I passed by Gala BakeShop  for some pan de sal, the giant version.

Went to the office and read a disturbing letter. WORK STUFF - confidential.

Went home to eat vegetarian lunch.

Merienda with Hyge my BAR buddy :)

Coffee with blogger friends Sheng and Sir G for the stickers and updates.

Where I received my gifts from Sir G. ;)

Went home and read two books, not the Sir G's gifts. I'm 10% done for both.

While waiting for the ginataang isda. Yummy!

Oh and on top of all these things I was able to repot the money tree today. Finally!

And this is the guy who inspired me to write this blog. :)

Solitude

I always find it fascinating the difference between me and my husband. I was reminded of this difference because a friend pointed out that it was just the three of us in the house.

You see my husband likes that a lot of people are around him. I on the other hand being a closeted introvert prefers to be alone. Do not get me wrong I love visitors and I love entertaining but compared to the husband who would prefer all who are dear to him to be an arm's length away every hour of the day I on the other hand is a firm believer that familiarity breeds contempt.

In fact I do my best work when I am alone. When I have important hearings to prepare for I wake up when the husband is asleep and study in our kitchen table. Sipping a cup of Milo with Alpine and not thinking if I am going to wake up anybody.

I relish those pockets of solitude when you can be by yourself, write notes and practice.

It's not that I do not like people it is just that with the way I am and the nature of my work solace is a precious commodity.

I love our set up where it is just him, me and Royet. My husband wants a different set up.

Ah marriage a constant compromise :)

Une Entry

I read the blog of a fellow Socsargen blogger just a few minutes ago and I was inspired to create a personal blog.

I have a number of personal blogs that I have maintained since the advent of personal sites. I started blogging in Friendster. Transported some of my blogs in Multiply when it was still trendy. Finally wrote most of my blogs in Blogger and also dabbled with Wordpress.

But now I'm back.

I'm not really sure what I will write. Maybe a hodgepodge of topics ranging from my weird desire to learn new languages but I can only memorize a handful of French words, enough German to introduce myself, a bit of Spanish to impress Madam Soresca and essential Arabic to plea to Allah.

Or maybe I will write about my travel. Or anecdotes during hearings. Or challenges in our married life. Or solved financial puzzles. Or my battle with the bulge.

Whatever.

The point is I'm blogging again.

Humanda! :)
