birthing pains

I've attended this seminar where the speaker said that you should rejoice when you are depressed. I thought then that the guy is full of bull.
Now, I 'm thinking that maybe he has a point.

You see for a few months now I have been thinking of streamlining my practice. I've made the decision that I will focus on cases involving land dispute and criminal cases. I would also accept a few civil cases and maritime matters. These would be the parameters of my practice.

Lo and behold, I was swamped with land cases this week. And oh boy was I overwhelmed.
I was so overwhelmed I got depressed.

but.

I am happy. My practice has finally evolved.

I am praying that I will be more diligent in these fields  and excel.
